Taif is our managing Spa Director and Professional Laser Technician. She is very passionate about people and has an extremely high customer service standards with over 15 years of experience. Her lively charisma and great knowledge of the industry makes consultations with her very enjoyable and informative. Taif loves to travel and enjoys social events.

Taif, became interested in the industry through a personal experience that changed her life. Several years ago, she was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), a hormonal disorder, that—in Taif’s case—resulted in excess androgen, a male hormone. “The effects on my body and mind were debilitating,” said Taif. “I was gaining weight, suffering with skin issues, losing hair where I wanted to keep it, and growing hair where I didn’t want it.”

It was the hair issues and the success she experienced through laser treatment that sparked Taif’s interest and launched her career.“The laser treatment and subsequent hormone therapy I received changed my life,” she said, “and I made a decision then and there that I wanted to help others regain their confidence and sense of self. This is why I’m so passionate about what we do every day.”

Initially, Taif gained her laser tech license and began learning more and more about the industry. Then, in 2017, she opened MINTbody Med Spa & Wellness in Cypress with her team of medical and aesthetic professionals. Each with 15+ years of experience, the MINTbody team includes a medical director, a nurse practitioner, a medical assistant, a client coordinator, and three medical aestheticians/laser techs whose mission is to serve clients with the absolute best in beauty and personal enhancement.
