Taif Alhashmy is the heart and driving force behind Mintbody Med Spa and Wellness. With over 15 years of experience in the aesthetics industry, her passion for people and commitment to exceptional customer service have earned her a reputation for delivering top-notch care. Known for her lively charisma and in-depth industry knowledge, Taif ensures every consultation is both enjoyable and informative.
Taif opened the original Mintbody Med Spa & Wellness location in Cypress (the Fry location) in 2017 and expanded her vision by opening the Fairfield location in 2021. Under her leadership, the clinic has become a trusted destination for beauty, wellness, and personal enhancement, with a focus on quality and innovation.
Her wealth of international knowledge, gained from living and working in multiple countries and interacting with a diverse range of people, enriches her approach and understanding of the industry. Taif is also a dedicated mentor who loves to guide and lead community events, helping the new generation find successful paths in their careers.
When she’s not leading her team or mentoring others, Taif loves to travel and enjoys attending social events, always bringing her positive energy wherever she goes.
Sylvia Fountaine is a compassionate and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a true passion for helping others achieve lasting wellness from the inside out. With a strong foundation in hormone therapy—including hormone pellet therapy—peptide treatments, IV nutritional support, weight management, and sexual wellness, Sylvia takes a deeply personalized and holistic approach to care. Her warm, calming presence and extraordinary patience instantly put patients at ease, creating a space where they feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered. With a background in emergency and regenerative medicine, Sylvia is committed to guiding each individual on a journey to renewed energy, balanced hormones, graceful aging, and a more vibrant, fulfilled life.

Debi is a highly experienced medical esthetician and laser specialist with over 20 years in the industry. She specializes in advanced skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, PRP, plasma lift, and a variety of laser procedures—always focused on delivering personalized, results-driven care.
She serves as a lead instructor at a well-known laser aesthetics institute in the region and trains physicians and medical spa professionals in the use of laser technologies. With 18 years of prior medical experience—nine in intensive care as a respiratory therapist and nine in hyperbaric medicine—Debi brings a strong clinical foundation to her work.
Passionate about education, she is dedicated to supporting both her clients and students. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Debi has lived in Texas since 1989 with her husband of 35 years. She enjoys swimming, golfing, traveling, and being a proud dog mom to her three pups.

Meet Beatriz, affectionately known as Bea by those who know her. She is a dedicated and passionate massage therapist with a career in the healing arts that began in 2007, following her graduation from massage school. Beatriz specializes in therapeutic, problem-solving techniques that are thoughtfully tailored to meet each client’s unique needs, with a focus on promoting optimal well-being and lasting relief.
Outside of her professional life, Beatriz is a proud and loving grandparent who treasures spending time with her grandson. She also has a deep love for cruising, drawing inspiration and joy from the serenity and beauty of the open seas. Destinee is a true skincare enthusiast with over a decade of experience as a licensed Esthetician. After studying the science of esthetics at the Aveda Institute, her passion for taking care of others naturally led her into the world of aesthetics. With over 5 years of experience in the medical spa industry, Destinee holds certifications in CoolSculpting, Venus Legacy, Diamond Glow, Hydrafacial, VI Peel, and Novalash.
Since joining the Mintbody team in March 2021, Destinee has become a favorite among patients for her expertise in body contouring and skin tightening, especially treatments focusing on the abdomen and back of the thighs. She also loves performing Hydrafacials and customized acne facials, making every patient feel radiant and refreshed.
A Houston native and Cypress resident since 2016, Destinee's caring nature shines both in her work and as a mom of two wonderful kids. When she's not pampering clients, you'll find her enjoying family time, cooking up delicious meals, or cozying up for movie nights.
